A part single-storey, part-two storey extension to the rear of this fine townhouse in the Brockley Conservation Area in South-East London, replacing an existing outdated construction to the rear. The design focus was to open up the rear towards the garden, provide an elegant modern kitchen, improve the flow between front and rear at ground floor, and the provision of a bathroom and additional study room at first floor, with combination of sympathetic and contrasting use of materials to ensure a modern appearance externally.
